May 15, 2017: Many forms and styles of yoga have been popular across the world. One such offshoot of yoga, born in the late 90s, is called Power yoga, also known as Ashtanga Viyasa yoga, or Ashtanga yoga.

Power yoga combines mental, physical and spiritual benefits of yoga with vigorous exercise. Power yoga is a combination of conventional yoga principles, and modern ideals that embrace physical fitness.

The poses of Power yoga are fast-paced, which is meant to make you sweat and feel more energized. Power yoga is more faster, more intense and focuses more on strength building than on mediation and chanting—that’s how it is different from traditional yoga.
