Enzymes are the biologically active proteins of the body that play a significant role in digestion. While several enzymes are produced in the digestive tract, they can also be found in raw foods.On the other hand, processed foods don’t contain natural enzymes, so make sure to eat lots of raw foods each day.
Eat frequent small meals
Keep your body fuelled by eating more often to keep your energy up but in smaller quantities. Eating a small meal every 2 to 3 hours will reduce problems and symptoms of indigestion.

In ayurveda, spices help to make foods more digestible by predigesting the food during cooking. Heat combines and awakens their aromatic qualities, making the nutrients easier to digest. Great spices to improve digestion are black, long, and cayenne pepper, cardamom and ginger.
Drink herbal tea
The flavour and quality of herbal teas helps to strengthen the agni or digestive fire within you, which helps to nourish your body. For best digestion, try ginger, lemon, licorice, and mint tea. You can also add spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, and long pepper in your tea to soothe your stomach.
Use baking soda
Take aglass of water and mix a teaspoon of baking soda, then add a few drops of lemon juice to it. Drink this twice a day. If your stomach is too acidic, this mixture will help to neutralize stomach acid and ease painful gas.
