New healthy snack products hit market

Mar 4, 2016: Saf Life have launched a new range of raw, vegan and gluten free healthy snack products under their Saf Raw brand.

Saf has created a range of products looking to provide unique flavour combinations and textures. The range includes kale crisps, coconut chips, fruity coconut pastilles and nutty nori. Each product is packaged in attractive and stylish plastic tubes and pouches also coming in convenient grab-and-go recyclable packaging.

Vegan and gluten free products have experienced a surge in the market over the last few years with 13 per cent of the UK population indicating they avoid gluten, the highest in Europe. The total free from foods market in the UK was valued at £365m in 2014; with the market set to continue to grow by 50 per cent by 2019, with the fastest growth being observed in the savoury snacks category.

The new Saf Raw range is available exclusively from Planet Organic but also will be available through other premium department stores and independent whole food stores.
