Some yoga poses for men to tackle erectile issues

May 16, 2017: It seems that yoga has a solution to all health problems, including erectile dysfunction. Hectic lifestyle, stress, anxiety, etc, lead to erectile issues that affect a number of men, including young men. Yoga is a holistic approach to solve sexual issues. Yoga relaxes the body and makes the mind stress free. Here are some asanas that will improve sexual functionality for men and cure erectile issues.

A study which included 65 men between 24-60 years of age, who attended yoga class, revealed that on completion of yoga sessions their sexual functions improved. Men reported improvements in the intercourse satisfaction, desire, sexual performance, confidence, partner synchronization, orgasm, ejaculatory control, and erection.

Yoga helps to tackle erectile dysfunction through stress relief, improved blood flow which is essential for stronger and long-lasting erections.

Naukasana or Boat pose: This asana activates hormones in men, increases libido, and strengthens thigh and hip muscles.

Kumbhakasana or Plank pose: This asana has been proved effective in erectile dysfunction issues. It strengthens the upper and lower part of the body

Dhanurasana or Bow pose: This asana is ideal for stimulation of reproductive organs. It tackles premature ejaculation and intensifies orgasms.

Ardha ustrasana: This asana tones the entire body and cures digestion problems along with impacting urogenital system in men.
